Gian Domenico Mosco
born in Rome on October 1st, 1954; graduated, magna cum laude, at "La Sapienza" University in Rome in 1977;
lawyer since 1980 and counsel at the Supreme Italian Court since 1995, he is also a member of Rome's Bar Association;
an auditor listed, since 1993, in the official register of the Italian Ministry of Justice;
professor of Corporate Law at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome; in the same university he is also the holder of the chair both Corporate Law II and Advanced Corporate Law;
professor at Luiss Guido Carli School of Specialization in law professions and member of the Direction Council, he coordinates the course of Corporate Law ; at the Faculty of Law of Luiss he coordinates the course of Law and Economics of Business and Innovation; member of the teaching board of the Ph.D. courses in Business Law and Law and Economics; member of the Board for International Relations and Student Exchanges;
from 1988/89 to 1989/93 he was the holder of a scholarship at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome to officially teach EEC joint-stock company law. In 1992 he won a competitive exam for a post of corporate and banking law associate professor and, in that capacity, lectured on company law during the academic year 1992/93. Since 1993/94 he taught European business law at the above mentioned university. Since 1995/96 he has been an associate professor of corporate law (followed by confirmation in 1997). In 2000 he qualified as a first level professor in the comparative rating procedure set up by the "Università degli studi del Piemonte Orientale";
founding member, and once chairman, of the Associazione Disiano Preite for company law studies;
founding member and co-editor of "AGE", Analisi Giuridica dell'Economia (economics juridical analysis), a review published by "Il Mulino";
member of the Board of Statutory Auditors for the Bank of Italy.
